Thank you for visiting our improvements planning page. We hope that our church family, school family, and community
can use this page to find a way to contribute to what God is accomplishing in the ministries of Harvest Baptist Church and School.
Harvest Baptist Church and Christian School was founded in 1978 and began looking to develop the property on Taylors Ferry Road early in 1979
and many improvements have happened since then.
We want to continue using the resources God entrusted to this ministry to fufill the Great Commission in our community.
To this end, we intend to keep this page as a draft plan of the capital improvements that are in-progress.
- Recently completed improvements:
- Build a 40'x60' pavilion in SE yard. (2021)
- Remodel ladies restroom in church building. (2022)
- New sign over school entryway. (2022)
- Lighting added to our Faith Pavilion.
- Gaga ball pit constructed as an Eagle Scout project. Thank you, Nathan Widener
- Concrete sidewalks from school to pavilion. (2023)
- Construct outdoor storage shed
(East of the north half of the church building) (2023).
- Improvement next on the list / underway:
- Create a new area for children's playground next to buildings.
- Safety: add pea gravel or bark and surrounding fence.
- Joy: add play equipment and benches
- Create a new volleyball court North of Faith Pavillion.
- We hope to complete these very soon!
